The Train Race 2021

Thanks to the friends of Sportiva7Comuni, to their tenacity and passion, the 15th edition of the Corsa del Trenino was held on Sunday 04/07/2021; so known and called, since athletes have the opportunity to run on the route of the ancient railway of the Asiago Plateau (VI).

The race normally follows for a large part the route of the Old Railway therefore, but in this particular and strongly desired edition, it was not possible to start as usual from Cogollo del Cengio but it was still a suggestive 20k ring with departure and arrival from Asiago between history and nature ..

So the route that is normally almost entirely on the former railway and on the old mule tracks, has been redesigned with an alternative route to make it safe respecting the anti-covid19 guidelines. Route of which 80% on dirt road – from Asiago to Canove, to the Contrada Roncalto, Val Magnaboschi, Cesuna and the rest on the ancient “railway” route to the finish line of Asiago: a total of 20 km of immersion between sport and nature!
