More books more free 2017 is now in its 16th edition. Founded in 2002, therefore, it is the only fair in the world dedicated exclusively to independent publishing where every year over 400 publishers from all over Italy participate, present to the public the news and their catalog. Five days and almost 600 events in which to meet the authors, attend readings and musical performances, listen to debates on industry issues.

Più libri più liberi was born in December 2002 from an idea of the Piccoli Editori Group of the Italian Publishers Association. The goal is to offer as many small publishing houses as possible a space to bring their production to the foreground, often “obscured” by that of larger companies, guaranteeing them the showcase they deserve. An exceptional showcase, in the center of Rome and during the Christmas period.

Più libri più liberi is also a meeting place for professional operators, where they can discuss the problems of the sector and where to identify the strategies to be developed.
