of the Ministry of Ecological Transition of 19 October 2022 was published containing “Minimum environmental criteria for the service of organization and implementation of events.
Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) are requirements that define the best design solution, product or service from an environmental point of view, at all stages of the life cycle of the product or service.
The following are subject to the application of the Event CAMs:
– Cultural events;
– Artistic events;
– Historical re-enactments;
– Food and wine events;
– Music, theater, film reviews and festivals;
– Exhibitions and exhibitions;
– Sporting events;
– Conventions, conferences, seminars;
– Fairs.
These criteria are mandatory for public works and in some cases also in private works. They cover the choice of materials, their composition, energy use, use of hazardous substances, waste management, recycling, repair and maintenance of the product or service.
