Monza Power Run for all the participants and for all five editions is to arrive happy at the finish line dirty with mud, sweaty and completely soaked, but above all proud to have completed the craziest race in Brianza for an entirely beneficial purpose.

Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July the MPR (Monza Power Run) is back, the non-competitive obstacle course, one of the most famous in Italy.
This year, we have reached the fifth edition, MPR has doubled. It was raced two days with the new entry Power Run Sprint. Over 2000 participants in the starting line, for about 20 km and 34 obstacles that involved over 250 volunteers and 2500 hours of work for their construction of the entire route. Saturday, with a single departure at 18.00 and arrival in Villasanta; the route as usual winded for about 12 km inside the Monza Park and the homonymous autodrome, with transit and many obstacles “built” also on the track, including the old “elevated”. One more obstacle than the 4th edition of 2016, reaching a total of 21 obstacles, 7 of which the classic “very popular” and 15 different and 8 absolute novelties!

Sunday 23 was the turn of the Power Run Sprint, new entry of this 5th edition, designed for those who aim for the “maximum goliardy” while wanting or being able to run little. A route of only 2.5 km to be repeated for 2 laps (5 km in total) with “only” (so to speak!) 13 obstacles. With the route that winded through the historic center of Villasanta, using some of the most beautiful and fun obstacles of the Monza Power Run 12K of the previous Saturday. This year there is still (wider) the “MPR Village”, a meeting point for the participants with their goliardic disguises, FoodTruck and evening concerts with the international cover bands of Queen and U2. For the Street Runners Party on both days, admission was free.

Once again we run in memory of Lele with “Lele Forever Onlus” which for 15 years has been organizing non-competitive sports events whose proceeds are entirely donated to charity for the fight against leukemia and in support of the Lele and Lory house, a free reception facility for families who, coming from outside Monza, have residential problems during the hospitalization of their loved ones.

This year’s proceeds will be entirely allocated to the creation of two apartments designed for the needs of immunodepressed people who during day hospital therapies, cannot be in contact with other guests of the house. An intervention costing about 60 thousand euros that will be added to the million and three hundred thousand euros of projects already financed by the Association thanks to the previous 4 editions and all the other collateral events organized.
