In practice, the Irish “rookie<\/em>” (already present in the WRC with his Skoda Fabia R5<\/em>) fights with the Italian (Ford Fiesta MSport R5<\/em>) until the last special stage, where he is mocked on the woolen thread. The Italian, who had dominated most of the rounds in western Liguria, could not do anything in front of the excellent time of the Irishman who recorded a gap of 15.3″ from Campedelli, who also finds himself at 4.3″ net of gap also in the final standings, thus closing in second place on the Ligurian stage.<\/p>\n

For Skoda<\/strong>, among other things, this is the second consecutive success this year in the CIR<\/strong> after the one with

In any case, Campedelli can console himself with the CIR 2019 drivers’ standings, in which he finds himself second just one point away from the leader Basso.
