Formula E – EPrix Roma 2019

Mitch Evans on Panasonic Jaguar Racing is therefore the winner of the second Formula E Rome E-Prix on the Eur street circuit. For the New Zealand driver, this is the first victory of his Formula E career. A great demonstration of strength and coolness for Evans, able to overcome André Lotterer cleanly but decisively and to hold the position from the attacks of the German.

The unexpected: On the first lap, the race was suspended for 50 minutes in the early stages due to a collision involving numerous cars. The second edition of the Rome E-Prix was a bit ruined by the rain. Circuit: the start was from Piazza Marconi, then a short extension on Via Cristoforo Colombo which anticipates a narrow hairpin bend that leads to Viale Asia, turn left for the mixed stretch towards Palazzo dei Congressi followed by Viale dell’Arte and Viale dell’Artigianato. After a short descent and turn left you enter Via delle Tre Fontane before a ninety degree curve that leads to Viale dell’Agricoltura, from here there is theactivation zone that allows pilots to have a greater momentary power before arriving in Viale della Civiltà del Lavoro and then returning to Christopher Columbus. In total the lap is 2.84 kilometers long.
